SILVER REFINING
OSMI provides silver refining services for all types of scrap silver material. Jewelry, flatware, and silver serving sets are some of the common types of silver scrap we refine. We can refine efficiently in very large amounts or small batches at our refining facility in central Kuala Lumpur and have the capability to process silver scrap. We return silver refining payments to our customers based on the actual silver recovered from the material, not on estimates.
We are not a middleman or consolidator. All silver refining is done in our facilities so we can control all aspects of the process and ensure you receive the highest return for your material. Our experienced team utilizes the most appropriate extraction techniques while our wide range of equipment (including small and large furnaces; thermal oxidizers and electrolytic purification cells) allow us to recover the most silver possible.
All silver refining is done on a custom basis. We do not consolidate your silver scrap with material from other customers. We perform the silver recovery procedures and pay you based on type and quantity of your silver scrap material.

PALLADIUM & RHODIUM REFINING
Other than platinum; palladium and rhodium are the most common platinum group metals and their values make them essential for refining and recovery. Unfortunately, refining these metals can be difficult to perform without the proper equipment and trained personnel. OSMI has this expertise. Our highly-skilled metallurgy team has over years of experience in metal refining and is equipped with a laboratory that has the proper tools to perform hydrometallurgical recovery on your palladium and rhodium scrap material.
Since we are not a middleman or consolidator, but actually refine the palladium and rhodium at our facility, we can ensure a maximum payment in a quick manner based on the weight of the precious metals recovered.

Platinum refining can be a very difficult and complicated procedure as platinum is a difficult precious metal to recover. Our highly-skilled, on-premise metallurgy team has many years of experience in recycling platinum and can ensure you the best return.
Plus, since we are not a middleman or consolidator, but actually do the platinum refining at our facilities, we can further assure you the best return based on the weight of the platinum refined from your material. We offer fast payment terms and all of the platinum we refine is recycled back to industrial sources.
